TRUSTED

Trust & Transparency Signals

See which public identity, contact, security and transparency signals Webitech can actually verify. A missing or hidden signal is marked Not verified instead of being treated as proof of poor reputation.

TRUST & TRANSPARENCY SIGNALS

TRUSTED – what can Webitech publicly verify?

TRUSTED evaluates publicly observable signals that make a website operator easier to verify: identity, contact paths, security, transparency and consistency across visible and machine-readable information. Missing signals can be marked Not verified rather than failed.

01

WHAT THE TEST CHECKS

The test combines company/operator signals found across a bounded crawl, direct contact paths, HTTPS and selected security indicators, public information pages and consistency across metadata, structured data and public profiles. References are informational only.

02

IMPACT ON THE COMPANY

A technically working website can still create uncertainty when the visitor cannot tell who operates it, how to contact the company, whether the presentation is transparent or whether public brand signals agree with each other.

03

WHY IT MATTERS

Trust is built from multiple small signals. A clear identity and contact path, sensible security, transparent information and consistent public presentation can reduce uncertainty before a visitor decides to enquire, buy or recommend the company.

iTRUSTED is an automated assessment of public verifiability signals. Not verified is not the same as failed. The test does not certify honesty, legal compliance, financial condition or real-world reputation.

This is only one part of the digital footprint.
